How to Register and Access
the St. Charles Borromeo Seminary
Before you begin, it is critical that you read the FAQ page.
We desire that you understand the operations of the seminary and the concepts of the Independent Church.
Steps in the process:
1. If you desire postulancy to be ordained into the United Episcopal Catholic Communion or the Anglican Protestant Church:

2. If you are entering the seminary on behalf of another organization:
2a. The requesting organization or seminarian desiring to use the seminary must read the Seminary Affiliation Letter of Understanding found at https://sgecc.org/SCBSeminary/index.php/seminary-affiliation-3 (Opens in NEW TAB).
This document is not to be misconstrued as a contract, agreement, warranty, accord, pact or other secular binding object, real or imagined. This document is a set of understandings of religious processes and procedures that are bound only by free will acceptance, based on the biblical context and precepts of the Christian Faith by which the understandings are derived
2b. Determine your path, Anglo-Catholic/Anglo-Protestant or Independent Catholic - The SCBS may also provide a generic training package to target other denominations.

3. Fill out the Registration form at https://sgecc.org/SCBSeminary/index.php/academics/registration
4. A phone and/or eMail interview will be arranged by seminary clergy
3a. A series of forms will be sent via eMail to gather information regarding the candidate
3b. Multiple interviews may be required as needed
5. If your registration is accepted, submit the free will Donation Commitment - A link will be emailed to you
6. You will receive LOGIN information for the seminary curriculum
7. Once you receive the login information, you will have access to the curriculum at https://sgecc.org/SCBSeminary under the MENU item ACADEMICS - There will be a MENU item called BACHELORS, MASTERS or DOCTORATE depending on the level you are registered to access.
7a. Follow the instructions on the page carefully. The requirements for submission of written assignments is strict
